While it may seem hilarious to some regarding what others will do to keep from writing, not writing excuses are a real, documented disease. I know for a fact they are. They editors of WebMD emailed asking probing questions. As if they expected me to write them back 😉

It is actually a real pain in the butt to have to manually check these settings repeatedly. If you don’t, however, the reality is that a ton of app makers have access to much more of your Facebook account data than you likely realize. Though I’m never overly vocal about privacy concerns and the dissemination of personal data, users of social networking might want take fuller stock of just how much they are willing to give away for “free” services.

Michael Moore Asks Publisher to Stop Selling His Book in ‘Murderous State of Georgia’
It’s interesting that someone like Michael Moore would step into the spotlight–albeit after the fact–with his solemn decree to have his products, in this case, his books, pulled (or attempted) from the sale’s shelves of stores in GA.

Even more interesting is the ridiculous response of the governor of that state.

If more celebrity types called for this type of action, I wonder if it might not have more of an impact. Perhaps they have and I’ve just not been privy to their please. Definitely possible. Can’t read everything.

I like Moore. The interviews of him I’ve observed tell me he’s an impassioned individual that seems to truly believe in what he produces. Clearly, he is focused on making social change, and I also appreciate that fact as well.
